How long will my appointment take?
As a general rule new guests should expect to be at the salon for 3.5 hours for cut and color and 1.25 hours for manicure and pedicure. We will always do our best to give an approximate time during your consultation and keep you updated throughout the service.
What is the wait to book an appointment?
We recommend that you prebook with every appointment to avoid missing out on your preferred stylist and time. However we understand that schedules can change and we advise to book 2-3 weeks in advance. For senior stylists and our busy days (late nights and Saturdays) we recommend 4-5 weeks notice at least. We do however have last minute cancellations for stylists so feel free to contact us via email or phone to double check and we can always add you to our cancellation lists.
How many sessions will it require to get to my desired color?
Each client’s hair takes differently to color so we can provide you with an estimate, however it may not be accurate. If you do not have any artificial dye in your hair then we can usually achieve your desired color in the first session. However, if you have colored your hair recently (in particular home dye’s) then we may need to cleanse your hair first to pull any strong colours. Alternatively if your hair is damaged then we may need to do 2 or 3 sessions of color to maintain the integrity of your hair to prevent breakage.
Can I come in for a Consultation, and is there a fee?
We advise that you come in for a consultation first if you are having a color correction, want a complete color makeover, have damaged hair, or are unsure what color/style you want to achieve. We charge $50 for this type of consultation.
Do I need to confirm my appointment?
Yes, you do need to confirm your appointment. We automatically send out a confirmation text and/or email (let us know which you prefer) 48 hours prior to your appointment as a confirmation. On the day of your appointment we will send you a friendly reminder text 3 hours prior. Should you prefer a phone call please let us know and we will make those arrangements. What is your cancellation policy?
It's imparative to our teams survival that our stylists are compensated for any time you reserve with them. We require 24 hours notice for cancellations. Cancellation made within 24 hours of the appointment will be charged a 50% rebooking fee. In the case of a No Show you will be charged 100% of the appointment price. This will be charged to the card you use to reserve your appointment. Booking with us means you agree to this policy.
What sort of Shampoo and Conditioner should I be using for my new color?
We can recommend a salon grade shampoo and conditioner suited for your color/style/hair needs/budget. We have a large variety of brands to suit everyone. They include Davines, R+Co and Reverie. For clients with colored hair we recommend using a color specific shampoo and conditioner to maintain longevity with your color and to prevent brassiness. It is also very important for highlighted hair to use a ‘blonde’ specific shampoo and conditioner. We also have conditioning treatments that can be used on a weekly basis to protect the integrity of your hair and color.
Can you guarantee your work?
Yes absolutely! We guarantee all of our work and if you are not pleased with your service then please contact the salon within 7 days of your original service for hair and three days for nails to speak with your technician so we may rectify the issue for you.
What if my polish chips?
In the event your polish chips within three days, four for gel, please email us a photo to and we will offer you a touch up on the affected nails within one week of the original service.
Do you have parking at your salon?
Yes, we have a parking lot. It can be very busy on Fridays and Saturdays. Parking on Utah is available and free at all times. Parking on El Cajon Blvd is metered and limited to two hours.
